She was once every schoolboy’s fantasy. Now Joanne Salley, who resigned as an art teacher at Harrow school after topless pictures of her were circulated by the pupils, is to set pulses racing again.
For the former model and ex-Miss Northern Ireland is taking part in a women’s boxing bout which will be the sole female fixture at this month’s Boodles Boxing Ball at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
Her opponent will be Danielle ‘the Grim’ Raper. Salley, 37, said she felt humiliated after the Harrow debacle, but like every prizefighter she is determined to make a comeback.
And she certainly knows all about rough and tumble, having previously dated former England rugby star Matt Dawson for six years.
